Foundation Footnotes: Ministry profession, new book and course

Ministry profession newsletterMinistry as a profession is the focus of a new book by Dr. John H. Morgan, After the Call: A Structural and Functional Analysis of the Ministry Profession, which is used with his newly designed E-Tutorial, “Ministry and Profession in a Changing World.” This new book will also be used for the GTF Institute in Oxford this August. In a carefully constructed analysis of what makes ministry a profession, this tutorial explores the range of definitions and their practices within the broader framework of the Church in the world.  Dr. Morgan’s book is available for sale from the GTF.

See a list of the numerous E-Tutorials that Dr. Morgan offers in psychology, psychoanalysis, ministry, religious humanism, moral development and the classic schools of psychotherapy (Sigmund Freud, Alfred Adler, Viktor Frankl, Abraham Maslow, Erik Erikson, Harry Stack Sullivan, Carl Rogers, Carl Jung).
