Footnotes: Oxford & Rome Non-Project Option

GTF students interested in completing the Non-Project Option for their professional degrees may now do so by attending either a GTF Institute, the Oxford Theology Summer School, or the Rome Summer Course at the Centro Pro Unione! The Non-Project Option (NPO) allows students to complete further coursework in lieu of a master’s project or doctoral project.

Oxford Theology Summer School

Theme: “Christian Spirituality and the Human Vocation”
Dates: August 2-8 (week 1) / August 9-15 (week 2)

Students interested in attending the Oxford Theology Summer School as a NPO must attend one week of courses consisting of a morning course and an afternoon course.

Applications for the Oxford Theology Summer School are made directly through the Oxford University Department for Continuing Education.

Rome Summer Course

Theme: “Ecumenical & Interreligious Movements from a Catholic Perspective”
Dates: June 29-July 17, 2015
Location: Centro Pro Unione, Rome

Students interested in attending the Rome Summer Course must attend two weeks of the program which consists of morning courses and afternoon excursions to sites of historical interest.

Applications for the Rome Summer Course are made directly through the Centro Pro Unione.

Students interested in fulfilling a NPO by attending an Institute at the GTF in Mishawaka, Indiana, should visit the Institutes webpage for dates, topics and details of upcoming Institutes.

Please note that GTF students may also complete courses at Oxford or Rome and apply credits toward their coursework in fulfillment of degree requirements.
