At this year’s 20th World Congress on Viktor Frankl’s Logotherapy held in Dallas, Texas, from June 17-21, GTF Professor Dr. Ann-Marie Neale will be offering a workshop on “Viktor Frankl’s Logotherapy and Twelve Step Recovery Programs.” She will discuss the similarities and differences of the two philosophies of Logotherapy and Twelve Step Recovery Programs to help participants to be able to make informed and appropriate referrals to 12-Step Programs of Recovery. Dr. Neale will also be a Facilitator/Organizer of a colloquium which will afford students who will soon receive their Diplomate Credential an opportunity to present and give an overview of their projects and respond to questions about their research and future plans. Dr. Neale is serving as the Supervising Diplomate for three of the students. She will also be an educational consultant in the Congress bookstore. At the GTF, Dr. Neale serves as Karen Horney Professor of Psychology and Counseling.
More information about GTF faculty and alumni who attended the World Congress will be available in the July newsletter. The World Congress is organized and hosted by the Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy in Abilene, Texas.
