We would like to congratulate GTF alumnus Richard Singleton, Ph.D. (2012), D.Min. (1992), on his appointment as Provost and Vice Chancellor at Queen’s College, Faculty of Theology at Memorial University of Newfoundland, in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.  Dr. Singleton’s doctoral thesis entitled, The Correlation Between Decision-making Processes and Moral Distress, was defended at Christ Church during the Oxford Summer School on August 22, 2012.  We know that Dr. Singleton will be a great asset to Queen’s College in his role as Provost and Vice Chancellor.

    The Rev. Dr. Ronald W.Parker (1986) has been interim, “Priest in Charge,” of The Church of the Annunciation B.V.M.in Philadelphia for the last three years. He continues his music career with public library presentations of “The History of the Great American Songbook.

    We commend GTF alumnus Bishop J. Jonathan Zayas, Psy.D. (GTF, 2004), Ph.D. (U of Wyoming), DBA, (U of TX & Cal Western) for his 15 years of exemplary service as CEO and President of the American College & Council on Excellence in middle Tennessee and Central Texas. Dr. Zayas’ GTF doctoral thesis entitled: “The Search for Meaning in Behavioral Science & Medical Psychotherapy,” has been revised and published in two editions under the title, “Honor The Z Force (Zoe) for Health, Intimacy & Meaning,” the first edition by Create Space Publishing (www.CreateSpace.com/3497582 in 2007); the second edition by Tate Publishing,com (2015). +Dr. Z+ served 40 years in the evangelical and Anglican ministries as a deacon, ordained minister, priest & bishop and was recently appointed to the International Anglican Episcopal Conference as Archbishop of Religious Liberties and Fellowship by the House of Bishops and Archbishop William E. Brown, Ph.D., D.D.. As an award winning author, +Dr. Z+ has published17 scholarly books, over 95 professional articles & ten children’s stories in a series called “The Greatest Gift of All.” On September 29th 2016 to honor his 40 years of ministry and 15 years of voluntary leadership as CEO and President of ACE-HEW, Dr. Jonathan was endowed as a “Presidential Fellow & Diplomate” of the American Council & College of Wellness Doctors. For over two decades, he has served as a Life Fellow of the American College & Board of Medical Psychotherapy, Life Diplomat of the American Psychotherapy Association, retired Certified Family Life Educator, Certified Financial Auditor, as a Certified Professional Manager, Certified Personnel Counselor, Life Certified School Counselor, and as a Lifetime Fellow and Diplomate of the American Association of Psychotherapy and the International Academy of Pastoral Counselors. He earned a NMD, summa cum laude (doctorate in naturopathic medicine) from Kingdom College in 2008 after suffering serious injuries in a near death tree falling accident and has since dedicated his full time writing and research activities to promoting SPFH–spiritual, psychological and family health at the doctoral and post doctorate levels in medicine, business, wellness, management, theology and psychotherapy as founder of the American Doctors and Chief Executives Council on LinkedIn and as clinical director of the Lifestyle Leadership Values Institute, a subsidiary of the American Council on Excellence. ++Dr. Jonathan+commends Dr. John.Morgan & Dr..Ann Graber for their diligent endeavors and outstanding leadership in earning international accreditation for GTF from the Viktor Frankl Institute of Psychotherapy in Vienna, Austria.     The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey A. Mackey (DMin, 1990; DD, 2005) served six years as the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Nyack College (NY), and was Associate Professor of Pastoral Ministry and English Bible; following he spent 18 months with what was then called “Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry” in (PA) where he was called to successfully guide them through a site visit by The Association of Theological Schools; finish that assignment he taught “The Protestant Reformation” at Christ the King Roman Catholic Seminary in East Aurora, NY. Most recently he retired (2016) from a two year assignment as the first Academic Dean of The College of Missionary Aviation in Keystone Heights, FL. It was announced in September (2016) that he will retire as Emeritus Professor of Bible and Theology. Mackey, an Episcopal priest is retired due to Parkinson’s but loves to show the doors that opened educationally after his study at The GTF. Thank you.
