The Graduate Theological Foundation is pleased to announce a new institutional affiliation with the Albanian Islamic Cultural Center (AICC) of Staten Island. This affiliation will allow the AICC to offer courses toward a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) in Islamic Studies through the Foundation. GTF President, Dr. Kendra Clayton, recently met with AICC founder an director, Imam Zurkani Vardar, to confirm this official affiliation between our two institutions.
This B.Th. program of the GTF and AICC will be under the oversight of Dr. Omar Shahin, Director of Islamic Studies at the Graduate Theological Foundation. The Albanian Islamic Cultural Center will offer courses toward the GTF’s Bachelor of Theology in Islamic Studies for the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The AICC also operates the Miraj School for kindergarten through 12th grade students, of which Imam Vardar is the Principal.
More information will be made available in the March issue of the Foundation Footnotes newsletter.
